A message from the Owner of Beeches Kids Club...

"Hi, my name is Marlene Nembhard-Riggon, and this is the story of the beginnings of Beeches Kids Club!"

As a full time mother of two children, I am aware of the constant need for professional and quality childcare for working parents.

After working for 15 years in the accounting profession, I realised it was becoming more difficult to organise childcare whilst working full time. When the time came for my first child to attend school, I found that very few schools in the area provided before and after school care.

It was this unfortunate shortage of wrap around care that encouraged me to change direction in my career and move into the childcare field which allowed me the flexibility to work in an environment, which gave me the opportunity to support my children, at the same time as pursuing a new and challenging career path.

I opened my first club in October 1999, and after requests and recommendations I am now the proud owner of four after school clubs.
